Tui Oaks Motel in Taupo was a lovely surprise during our recent weekend getaway. Nestled just across from the tranquil lake, it made morning swims and leisurely strolls so convenient for my family and me. The apartment we booked was spacious and equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, which allowed us to prepare some delightful meals together and share laughter over the dining table, reminiscent of my fond memories of French picnics. Diane, the owner, was a gem-so accommodating when we found ourselves extending our stay from one night to three! The guest lounge featured a ping-pong table which kept my daughter entertained while we enjoyed our daily dose of fresh coffee, a lovely touch considering my penchant for the finer things in life. The proximity to the town center not only made our explorations seamless but also offered a peaceful retreat after our adventures. I cannot recommend Tui Oaks enough for families and those seeking a warm, welcoming environment to unwind. With amazing views and comfort, it truly combined relaxation with a hint of adventure!
